Bandit truck racing director: First season exceeding expectations, 2018 season confirmed
The season has been so successful, in fact, the series has announced it will be back for its second season in 2018. While he’s not ready to name any tracks specifically, Madsen says the series will expand its footprint next year, while also expanding the field of trucks.

Tommy Boileau will be gunning for his third consecutive win in this weekend’s race at Lebanon I-44 Speedway. He has found his groove since the series traveled to the Midwest, winning back-to-back races at Hawkeye Downs Speedway in Iowa and Madison International Speedway in Wisconsin.

Bandit points standings stay tight as Boileau wins second straight race
Tommy Boileau, driver of the No. 16 Volvo, picked up his second win of the season, and his second in a row. His first win came two weeks prior at Hawkeye Downs Speedway in Iowa. Boileau, Ricky “Rude” Proffitt and “88 Mike” Morgan are in a tight battle in the series points standings.

Going into the race, Ricky “Rude” Proffitt leads the overall points standings, followed by “88 Mike” Morgan and Tommy Boileau. Proffitt has three wins this season, followed by Morgan’s two and Boileau’s one win two weeks ago in Iowa.

’88 Mike’ Morgan closes gap on Ricky ‘Rude’ Proffitt in Bandit points standings
Morgan has won the last two of the series’ races after Proffitt ran of a string of three consecutive wins before that. Proffitt still leads in the overall points standings approximately halfway through the 13-race season, but Morgan is closing the gap.

Racing action, update with ’88 Mike’ Morgan’s Mack race truck
In the 6th race of the inaugural Minimizer Bandit Big Rig racing series, the No. 88 Mack of “88 Mike” Morgan ran away with the win in the main event at what amounts to the Wartrace, Tenn., resident’s home track. For his win, Mike Morgan earned a $10,000 check. Finishing behind Morgan were Tommy Boileau, Ricky “Rude” Proffitt, Allen Boles and Chris Kikelhan. Through five races, Proffitt holds the lead in the overall series points, followed by Morgan and Justin Ball.
