Love’s reopens remodeled location in Toomsuba, Mississippi

Love’s Travel Stops has reopened its Toomsuba, Mississippi, location off of I-20. The store had been closed for major renovations since December.

The revamped location offers drivers 71 truck parking spaces, eight diesel lanes, seven showers, laundry facilities, a Love’s Truck Tire Care, an Arby’s restaurant and more.

The store is located at exit 165 just west of the Mississippi-Alabama state line.

FMCSA offers details on proposed HOS-flexibility pilot programs

Following DOT Secretary Sean Duffy's announcement of the launch of the pilot programs Monday, FMCSA released proposals showing one pilot would add more split-sleeper berth options, while the other would allow drivers to pause their 14-hour clock for up to 3 hours per duty cycle.
