Don Christner lives in Cheyenne, Wyo., after growing up on a family farm in rural Western Nebraska, where he got his starting trucking cattle by age 19. His trucking adventure has now spanned more than three decades. He currently pulls a hazmat tanker mostly in Wyoming and the front range in Colorado. An avid photographer, Christner believes the hard things in life are where true beauty lies. He’s especially pulled toward old trucks and their hard-won stories. Christner also has his Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association photographer’s card, shooting several events on weekends throughout the year.
