Continental eyes wide single market

Continental has enjoyed the reception of its wide single trailer tire, the HTL1, which was introduced early this year, says Dr. Hans-Joachim Nikolin, a member of the Continental Executive Board. The company hopes to introduce a wide single tractor tire by the end of 2010, said Clif Armstrong, marketing director for Continental Commercial Vehicle Tires in the Americas. Nikolin and Armstrong spoke with trucking journalists at Continental booth #18134 at the Great American Trucking Show.
