Two operators of Springfield, Ohio-based trucking and rigging companies face a possible $384,000 fine for operating an oversize truck in Iowa. The fine that Casey Enterprises owner Buster Ray Casey and R and J Rigging President Richard Albrecht face is believed to be the largest in the history of overweight vehicle enforcement in Iowa. Their companies rig and move industrial machinery.

Williams Express will sell its 198 convenience stores to Delek, The Israel Fuel Corporation Ltd., for a base purchase price of $147 million plus inventory, merchandise and supplies. Consolidated Freightways opened a freight facility on the U.S.-Mexico border near Laredo, Texas. CF says the 93-door, 51,000-sq.-ft. facility is the largest of its kind. The facility will employ approximately 100 people and handle 2 million pounds of freight daily. The new Laredo facility is one of 22 terminals in CF’s Mexico division.
