Construction closes I-10 lanes

Interstate 10 westbound is reduced to one lane between Sarival Road and Verrado Way in Phoenix for freeway widening until Jan. 17 at 5 a.m.

On ramps in this area will be closed intermittently, the Arizona Department of Transportation said. I-10 is being widened to five lanes in each direction in one segment and to three lanes in another area.
