Eastbound I-10 will be closed between U.S. 60 (Superstition Freeway) and Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) from 10 p.m. Friday to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, the Arizona Department of Transportation said.
The eastbound I-10 on-ramps at Baseline, Elliot, Warner and Ray roads, at Chandler Boulevard, and the westbound U.S. 60 ramp to eastbound I-10 also will be closed.
Crews are replacing overhead sign structures that span the eastbound travel lanes.
To detour use eastbound U.S. 60 to southbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) to westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) to reconnect with I-10.
Motorists heading to southern Arizona from California are advised to use eastbound I-10 to southbound State Route 85 to eastbound I-8.
