Federal-Mogul recently introduced the Abex Reduced Stopping Distance Brake Block that the company says meets safety standards and is available in three application-specific formulations: RN (organic, 20,000-pound axle rating, copper-free formulation), RSM (semi-metallic, 29,000-pound axle rating, for RSD and severe service applications) and RSC (semi-metallic, 23,000-pound axle rating, combo formulation).
