The Lowe’s 2002 Gold Carrier Award was Sitton’s fourth award from the national home improvement retailer. Sitton was previously awarded the 1997 and 1998 Carrier of the Year Award, as well as the Lowe’s Gold Team award in 2000.

Third Top Driver Honor
Sitton Motor Lines recently awarded owner-operator Robert I. Morris of Lotawana, Mo., with its Driver of the Month award for December 2002.

Morris was selected to receive the Driver of the Month award because of his high rating in accidents, work-related injuries, cargo claims, moving violations, DOT inspections, service failures, customer and motorist comments, log violations, miles driven, fuel economy, maintenance, payroll and operations.

Sitton also honored three drivers with the Million Mile Award. Company driver Vicki Price of El Dorado Springs, Mo., who drives with her husband Ray, reached 1 million miles in December. She and her husband have also received a Driver of the Month award and the 2001 Driver of the Year award as a team. Price has been driving with Sitton for 12 years.
