Susan and Henry Gantner have been named the November 2011 Trucker Buddy of the Month. The Trucker Buddy program helps to educate and mentor schoolchildren via a pen pal relationship between professional truck drivers and children in grades K-8 as supervised by their teachers.
The Gantners were nominated by Chassidy Vissering and her second grade class at Pewitt Elementary in Omaha, Texas. The Gantners, owner-operators/independent drivers for Roadrunner, drive as a team and make sure to communicate with Vissering’s class at least once a week.
