Bridgestone unveils new Ecopia

Bridgestone has developed the a new drive radial, the M760 Ecopia, that is EPA SmartWay verified and CARB compliant. The newest addition to the Ecopia tire line, the M760 delivers high traction and long mileage in a unique fuel efficient and retreadable design, the company says.

The M760 is designed to improve traction and last longer, and the IntelliShape sidewall design reduces overall tire weight. The tire is primarily intended for use in on-highway, long-haul and regional applications, and it also can be applied for pick-up and delivery service. It works on single and tandem axle trucks providing traction in severe weather conditions, Bridgestone says.

Additional features include an optimized groove width to help combat casing damage and improve drilling resistance, multiple sipes for improved traction on wet and dry surfaces and an extra-wide tread.

The M760 Ecopia comes in four sizes. The 295/75R22.5 is now available while remaining sizes (285/75R24.5, 11R22.5, 11R24.5) will launch in 2014. To learn more, visit www.ecopiatrucktires.com.
