Fitzgerald Increases production to meet demand

Fitzgerald has increased its production of gilder kits to about 40 to 55 completed units per week to handle larger quantity orders.

With its new facility in Albany, Ky., Fitzgerald has increased its production capabilities, it said this week. Reorganizing the disassembly and reassembly of the glider kit process has given them room to grow at an almost unlimited rate.

Fitzgerald Glider Kits is based in Crossville, Tenn., and specializes in completing rolling glider units with non-emission 12.7 liter Detroit Diesel engines. Fitzgerald estimates their maintenance costs to be around .02 cents per mile.
