Prime participates in Wreaths Across America

Prime Inc. will participate in the annual Wreaths Across America Day on Dec. 14 at Springfield National Cemetery.

The Missouri Highway Patrol will escort a Prime truck carrying over 1,000 wreaths through the state. The wreaths will be delivered and placed at the cemetery at 9 a.m. The ceremony, which starts at 11 a.m., will be conducted in unison with more than 800 cemeteries around the country. The Springfield Civil air Patrol Auxiliary color guard and the VFW Honor Guard will be at the ceremony. Approximately 406,000 wreaths will be placed on fallen soldiers graves.

Prime will also transport the company’s veterans to the cemetery to participate in the ceremony.

Wreaths Across America Day is celebrated on the second Saturday in December every year.
