Bill H.B. 295 was recently introduced by Rep. Mike Kelley in the Missouri state house to boost the maximum speed limit possible within the state’s borders from 70 to 75 miles per hour, joining several others states where such a limit is possible.

Representatives of the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association, as reported by Keith Goble in Land Line in this linked story, stressed the need to maintain a single speed limit for both cars and trucks.
