Marshall Tucker Band to headline concert at Louisville truck show

Marshall-TuckerThe Marshall Tucker Band will play a Mobil Delvac-sponsored concert at the Mid-America Trucking Show in March, the show announced Jan. 29.

The concert, which will also feature the Nashville-based singer-songwriter Chris Hennessee, will take place Friday, March 27 in the Freedom Hall of the Kentucky Exposition Center, where MATS is held.

Tickets are free and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at Mobil Delvac’s booth, #18160.

The Marshall Tucker Band’s inception in the 1970s helped spark the Southern Rock genre, blending rock, rhythm and blues, jazz, country and gospel.

The band’s hits include “Heart It In a Love Song”, Fire on the Mountain” and “Can’t You See”.
