As part of the campaign, Freightliner will host celebratory events in each honoree city, including coffee and donut visits to high-profile jobsites as well as larger celebrations at Freightliner dealers. The first such celebration was held during the Work Truck Show at Stoops Freightliner in Indianapolis on March 6, while coffee and donuts were delivered to selected jobsites around the city that morning.

Eleven different criteria — ranging from impact on overall gross domestic product to employment growth and performance in key industry sectors such as construction, manufacturing and logistics — are key in determining a city’s selection in the program.
