The Indiana State Police in Versailles are advising drivers to avoid I-65 north in the Uniontown area due to a current traffic following a truck fire and multiple-vehicle crash closing I-65 northbound at mile marker 41. The closure will tie up traffic for at least the next three-four hours, officials advised at 2 p.m. Central Daylight Time.
Traffic is being diverted off I-65 at the Uniontown exit at mile marker 41 three quarters of a mile to U.S. Highway 31. Take U.S. 31 north around 9 miles to U.S. Highway 50 and back to I-65 north.
AVOID I-65 north Uniontown area for the next 3-4 hours due to traffic incident. I-65 is closed northbound at 41mm. https://t.co/dPRA0hjo0l
