Hill Bros. offers new pay package, increase

Hill Brothers Transportation announced a new pay package and pay increase for its over-the-road/national fleet drivers. The new pay scale offers drivers up to 54 cents per mile, including hazmat and bonuses, and rewards drivers based on length of haul.

The Omaha, Neb.-based truckload company said the pay increase comes in addition to other driver incentives, including a $1,000 referral bonus.

The heavy-haul/oversize trucking niche can be lucrative for owner-operators who know the ins and outs of the business. That doesn't come immediately, nor without significant challenges.
