TA/Petro accepting nominations for Citizen Driver Award

Five truck drivers were awarded Citizen Driver Awards in 2015.

TA/Petro Stopping Centers is accepting nominations for its third annual Citizen Driver Award through Wednesday, Sept. 30.

The award recognizes rivers that earn public respect for the industry through good citizenship, safety, community involvement, health and wellness, and leadership.

Anyone can nominate a driver for the award. A panel of trucking professionals will review the nominees and serve as judges.

The winners will be announced at the Mid-America Trucking Show in March. Winners will have a TA or Petro location named for them, among other honors.
