USA Truck named finalist for military employer honor

USA Truck is a finalist for RecruitMilitary’s 2017 Most Valuable Employers for Military designation.

USA Truck (No. 57 on the CCJ Top 250) has been named a finalist for the 2017 Most Valuable Employers for Military (MVE), awarded by RecruitMilitary.

Being designated a MVE helps military veterans find the top-rated employers to target for civilian careers, USA Truck says. MVEs are selected annually based on employers whose recruiting, training and retention plans best serve veterans.

“Nearly 30 percent of our driver team members are U.S. military veterans,” says James D. Reed, president and CEO of USA Truck. “Clearly, we put a premium on hiring veterans, and we’re honored to have our efforts recognized by such a prestigious organization.”

Today, the Semi-Stow truck parking/terminal facilities company, with sites across the U.S. South, West and elsewhere, rebranded as Outpost. The move follows an infusion of investment and plans to expand its network of sites short-term.
