Love’s expands tire brand offerings at Speedco locations

Love’s Travel Stops, which acquired Speedco from Bridgestone last year, has announced it is expanding Speedco’s commercial tire brand offerings at most locations.

The company says 46 of the 52 Speedco locations now offer Aeolus, Goodyear, Yokohama and Love’s Retread tires. These brands have already been offered at Love’s Truck Tire Care locations.

Speedco will also continue to offer Bridgestone and Firestone tires, along with other maintenance services, including oil changes, DOT inspections and battery work.

Love’s says it plans to add other light mechanical services to Speedco locations later this year.

If finalized, this proposal would remove all greenhouse gas standards for light-, medium- and heavy-duty vehicles and heavy-duty engines, starting with EPA’s first greenhouse gas regulations set in 2010 for light-duty vehicles and those set in 2011 for medium-duty vehicles and heavy-duty vehicles and engines – which includes off-cycle credits like the much hated start-stop feature on most new cars.
