Stephen Massat owns and operates this 1989 Marmon 57P as his everyday rig hauling paint for Behr to Home Depot stores. He also hauls some hazmat in a dry van out of his hometown of Peotone, Illinois. The truck is powered by a 425-hp Cat 3406B with a Fuller 15-speed overdrive and 3:70 rears. Massat says he spent three years rebuilding the truck, including a new suspension, new driveshafts, updating it to automatic slack adjusters, swapped the flat top sleeper for the stand-up sleeper, and added a new paint job. Inside the rig, he replaced the plastic upper console with a custom stainless steel console, and now he’s in the process of changing the dash panels to stainless with digital gauges.
