Innova Electronics produces commonly used DIY code-scanners like its best-seller in the full-featured 5610, likewise less expensive models 5410, 5510 and 5512.
For many of the Class 3-5 hotshots or cargo-van owners in the audience, those options will be functional for diagnostic assist when the dash lights up. For most of the rest of you, the company's 3128 HD Adapter Kit serves as a patch between the scanner and the truck, with adapters fitting most connections to the rig's engine control module.
