The Pelsee dashcam provider offers a number of options for passenger vehicles, but some can be tailored for truck owners.

Pelsee dashcam system with 4K HDR video, 5GHz WiFi, smartphone app display, microSD card, and multiple camera unitsPelsee’s P1 Pro, available for $119.99, features a 4K HDR front camera paired with a 1080P rear camera. The system syncs at 30 fps, providing uncompromised clarity, the company said.

The Sony Starvis 2 sensor and AI night vision offers good low-light sensitivity, performing well in dimly lit urban streets, pitch-black rural roads and everything in between, capturing full-color night vision.

Built-in 5.8GHz Wi-Fi enables real-time viewing, downloading and sharing of 4K footage directly via the Pelsee Cam app. Additionally, GPS tracking embeds speed, coordinates and timestamps onto videos.

This allows drivers to forward critical clips to insurance in minutes, all without removing the SD card, enabling instant evidence access.

When hardwired into the vehicle, the camera system also offers 24-hour recording, parking surveillance and ability to lock footage upon collision detection. The device records on a loop, so the oldest non-locked recordings are overwritten by new footage.

Finally, the Pelsee P1 Pro's advanced driver assistance system provides proactive alerts for forward collision, pedestrian collision and lane departure warnings. Visual and audio warnings trigger at 0.8-2 seconds reaction time.
