Bridgestone’s triple play
Bridgestone has introduced two new truck tires and a wide-based trailer tire. The M770 open-shoulder drive-axle radius model has a groove-and-block shape to resist lug base cracking and tearing and offers platforms to prevent damage from stones. The M799 on/off-highway mixed-service radial has an all-steel casing and an extra-deep cap and base tread. The Greatec R125A wide-based trailer radial has a belt system designed to maintain casing shape and has Equalizer Rib structure and Defense Groove design.

Skirt and securement systems
The USS-120A aerodynamic side skirt can move inward and outward due to its galvanized high tensile steel braces. Use of the U.S. EPA SmartWay certified skirt can result in up to 5-percent fuel savings. The product can be factory-installed on new Utility trailers or as a retrofit for existing trailers. Also, the Adjustable Load Securement System on both the 4000A Tautliner curtain-sided trailer and Conestoga 2 is now available.

Daycab conversion kit
Kits to change integrated and non-integrated sleeper trucks into daycab trucks come with installation hardware, instructions and upholstery matching the original equipment maker’s. Kits can also be installed at Daycab Co.’s facility near Knoxville, Tenn. All bracing and windows are factory-installed. Air ride brackets are available for most models.
