Von Harris uses this 1990 Peterbilt 379 to haul heavy equipment including military, oilfield and construction equipment. The truck is powered by a 1,000-horsepower Cat C15 with a 13-speed main transmission, 4-speed auxiliary transmission and 4:63 rears. Harris did most of the custom work himself including welding the stainless steel boxes and chain-link shifters, the stainless floor of the cab and hand-carving some cherry wood pieces in the cab.
