The 2019 Great American Trucking Show and Overdrive‘s Pride & Polish are in the books. The competition featured 52 standout rigs competing in a variety of categories.
Over the coming weeks and months, Overdrive will be taking a look at the winners from each category from the show.
Up this week is the Combo – First Show category. Photos below are all by Jason Kindig.
First place: Chattanooga, Tennessee-based James and Cynthia Hodge’s 1985 Peterbilt 359 and 2000 Haulmark drop deck van, “Trucking for the Word of God Ministry.” The trailer features art depicting stories from the Bible on the driver’s side, and patriotic graphics on the passenger’s side.Second place: Jimmy Nevarez, out of Phelan, California, showed this 2018 Freightliner Cascadia and 2010 Wabash Duraplate van.Third place: Laredo, Texas-based Henry Albert’s 2018 Freightliner Cascadia and 2008 Utility van.
