Chad Keegan bought this 1983 Kenworth K100 in June 2018. It’s powered by a 350-hp Cummins Big Cam III and a 9-speed Eaton-Fuller with Reyco spring suspension. It had been sitting for two years and hadn’t been used on the road since 1996.

Keegan added a new set of 6-inch stacks, 10 new 24.5-inch tires, rear brakes and all new lights. He also had to replace the blower motor and washer fluid motor. Inside the truck, he added a 7-inch SiriusXM CD deck and updated the speakers but otherwise tried to keep it as original as possible with no changes.

He painted the top of the truck white, along with the visor and drive rims. The steer rims and lug nut covers he painted gray. He also added a new red pinstripe along the edges of the white stripes. Keegan also added the front mud flaps and replaced all other mudflaps on the rig.

The truck is currently used to haul rail containers from Campbell’s Soup in Napoleon, Ohio, to CSX Intermodal in North Baltimore, Ohio.

“For being my first truck, I wanted to take a classic piece of history and make it mine,” Keegan says.
