Tempe, Ariz., resident Trent Waller hauls milk in the Southwest in his 2007 Peterbilt 379. The truck is equipped with a 550-hp Cat and an 18-speed Eaton Fuller transmission. Waller has added custom touches as well, including aftermarket fenders, stainless steel steps, a custom-built flush-mounted bumper, and some diamond plating.

Home-weekly fleets have started in several regions nationally, Crete Carrier Corp. announced. Drivers will be paid on practical route miles and can enjoy home time on a weekly basis, a spokesman with the Lincoln, Neb.-carriers group said.
