Running across central Illinois early one morning, Mike Boggs took note of “black ice in the road,” he says, well invisible in the video above.
“I was just moving into the left lane to pass some slower vehicles,” he goes on, when a young woman who’d just come “around me driving too fast for the conditions” lost control of the car as she came upon “the slower vehicles ahead.”
Fortunately Boggs’ situational awareness was on high alert and, he adds, “she was unhurt in the accident.”
