SUPER SLEEPER

Kenneth and Mary Jane Olson of Superior, Wis., use their 1984 Peterbilt 359 to haul military freight. Although the truck has been remodeled to better haul that cargo, the Olsons take pride in their 160-inch True Custom Specialty sleeper. The truck also features a 327-inch wheelbase and a 1200 Sportster painted and pinstriped to match the truck. The truck has also won awards for its custom sleeper and design.

CLASSIC DRAGSTER

Richard Smith of Danboro, Pa., has driven many trucks during his 50 years in the industry, but his 1971 V-12 Kenworth is his pride and joy. Last year, Richard and his two sons replaced the old Peterbilt suspension with a 240-inch wheelbase 2000 Kenworth eight-bag suspension, along with full fenders and chrome. The truck has logged more than 800,000 miles and has won a few trophies at the drag strip.
