PETERBILT 379 LENS BLINKER COVER
HammerTone Products now offers a custom chrome lens blinker cover for a stock Peterbilt 379 blinker assembly. The cover comes with steel-welded construction, triple-chrome plated, or polished stainless steel with inlayed reflective lens in a choice of amber or clear.
LEAK DETECTION KIT
Tracer Products’ new Tracerline kit pinpoints refrigerant and fluid leaks in all types of heavy-duty vehicles. The fluorescent dye, as it circulates in a system, can be detected as it leaks. The kit includes the detection lamp, a 12-volt battery pack with rechargeable battery and cigarette lighter plug, an adapter cord with battery clips, and other equipment.
Mightyair Inc.’s Mightymist vehicle humidifier unit plugs into a 12-volt accessory. The larger size requires water replenishment only once every 24 hours.
CABINET CAB PROTECTOR
East Manufacturing’s new Ultimate Cabinet Cab Protector stores chains, tarps, straps, binders and more in a dry environment. It features three weather-sealed compartment doors with lockable stainless steel T-latches with lock covers. DC-POWERED AIR CONDITIONING UNIT
The R-6900 Electric Rooftop A/C allows you to cool your sleeper without idling the engine. The system utilizes 12- or 24-volt starting or auxiliary current to drive the 9,000 BTU A/C unit. The system is equipped with an adjustable low voltage cut-off that prevents the battery from discharging below what is needed to start the engine.

DIRECTLY CONTROLLED FAN DRIVE
Horton Inc. has introduced VMaster, a directly controlled viscous fan drive. It is managed by the electronic control module, which enables economical operation and increased engine performance. The VMaster fan drive is available in two sizes and three control configurations.
REAR-AXLE SLIDE OPTION
Transcraft has introduced a rear-axle slide option engineered to redistribute cargo weight to meet specific state bridge laws. The slides can be California-legal when in the closed position and provide a wide spread setting in the open position.
The Willis auxiliary power unit is powered by a 3-cylinder Kubota diesel engine, which idles at a lower rpm than other APU engines. Its features include options such as: an air compressor and air starter; engine oil pump; and sensors that monitor the truck’s alternator and air supply.

REDESIGNED FLATBED BEAM
Ravens has redesigned the main beam section of its Magnum and Eclipse II Classic flatbed trailers. The new main beam has a single-piece web the length of the trailer, up to 53 feet long, rather than three pieces of aluminum welded together. The Magnum is Ravens’ heaviest duty trailer, designed to haul concentrated loads, though it weighs much less than comparable steel trailers. The Eclipse II Classic is Ravens’ lightest weight flatbed, used primarily by owner-operators and weight-sensitive fleets.
The Minimizer has added a new line of under-body toolboxes. The Minimizer toolbox 36 is made from high-density, weather-resistant polyethylene. Its dimensions are 20-inch-by-20-inch-by-36-inch. Minimizer plans to introduce 48-inch toolboxes and 24-inch plastic step boxes.
REDESIGNED VOCATIONAL ENGINES
Cummins has introduced ISC and ISL engines, featuring a new high-pressure common rail injection system, to vocational markets. The system increases performance, lowers emissions and reduces noise 30 percent. The new fuel system provides a tiny “pilot” injection of fuel during compression to precede the main injection and combustion event, which spreads out combustion and also improves cold starting. The common-rail design maintains high injection pressures regardless of engine rpm, which improves performance across the entire power range.
