HWC names driver of year

HWC Transportation, a flatbed carrier headquartered in Fairless Hills, Pa., named its Driver of Year for 2010 and awarded a new truck to a driver at its annual safety meeting.

The company presented George Dito, the driver with the highest score for 2010, with the Luchious Eugene “Gene” Wren Driver of the Year award.

In addition, HWC presented a new GMC Sierra truck to Mark Alloway. Drivers with the highest monthly safety rating qualified each month for a chance to win the truck.

The 2007 379 is powered by a Caterpillar C15 Acert, with a 13-speed automated manual transmission and 3.08 rears.
