Members of military can get CDL away from home

Military CdlMembers of the U.S. military can now receive training for and obtain a commercial driver’s license in states other than their home state. President Barack Obama signed Friday, Oct. 19, the Military Commercial Driver’s License Act that OK’s states to issue a CDL to active service members who are stationed outside of the state in which they live, taking away a major obstacle for members of the military who want to pursue a CDL.
