The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) will close the Searchlight Rest Stop along U.S. Highway 95 from 6 a.m., July 9, until 10 a.m., July 10, for minor water upgrades.
“The facility’s plumbing system is undergoing a chlorination injection, which requires testing and a 24-hour flush cycle to make certain no residual chemicals are left,” said NDOT spokesman Tony Illia. For current road information go to: www.nvroads.com.
