MyLumper, a company calling itself the “first electronic payment platform that facilitates lumper fee payment instantly and securely,” debuted its web- and smartphone-based platform. Created to reduce stress and prevent fraud, MyLumper processes transactions quickly and “eliminates late-night calls to dispatch with its electronic payment system, preventing costly detention and delay,” the company says.
The payment platform is designed specifically for carriers, shippers and 3PLs to send and receive instant lumper payments through the electronic system. All transactions and receipts are digital and available to view instantly online by all parties.
The service was founded by CEO Akmann Van-Mary after two decades in trucking in a variety of roles, including what the company called “antiquated” payment systems at motor carriers. “In my many of years of working in this industry, a constant source of frustration has been the unsecure, time-consuming lumper payment process, which often causes delay and disrupts the loading process,” Van-Mary says. “We set out to provide the next generation of payment to the industry that keeps the nation going. MyLumper enables lumper fees to be paid instantly and securely, with no lost receipts or cash required.”
