Former “Ice Road Truckers” star Todd Dewey was involved in a head-on collision near Shelton, Washington, early Thursday morning, according to reports from local media. Dewey was uninjured in the crash. However, the driver and passenger in the other vehicle died.

According to a report from the Peninsula Daily News, the 44-year-old trucker was traveling southbound on Highway 101 when a 1996 Saturn sedan crossed the centerline and collided head-on with Dewey’s log truck.

The driver and passenger of the car were both killed in the crash, the report states. All involved were wearing seat belts, and drugs or alcohol are not suspected to have been a factor.

Overdrive has reached out to Dewey for comment and will update this story with any information he provides.

Dewey was part of the History Channel’s hit reality TV series “Ice Road Truckers” from seasons 7-11. The show has been off air since its final season in 2017.
