Greg Decker's 2019 Western Star 5700XE

Greg Decker, out of Airdrie, Alberta, Canada, owns this custom-ordered 2019 Western Star 5700XE. The rig is powered by a 505-hp Detroit DD15 with a DT-12 overdrive transmission and 3:23 rears. The steer axle is a Detroit 13,300-pound rated axle, and the rear axles are rated at 44,000 pounds. Decker says there was extensive custom work done to the truck by Deep Pockets Fab Shop in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, including Trux Dual Revolution lights in the headache rack and the rear taillights, a custom tool box, custom half fenders and custom RGN ramps. The bumper guard was manufactured by Herd, and the headache rack is a custom 14-inch rack from Ace Manufacturing. Decker also had a Carrier ComfortPro APU installed by Eskimo Refrigeration in Calgary. He and his wife haul oversized freight throughout North America for Mullen Trucking out of Aldersyde, Alberta.
