Bandit truck racers set to take on Lake Erie Speedway

Racers in the Bandit Big Rig Series are gearing up for the fifth race of the season, which is set to take place this Saturday, July 13, at Lake Erie Speedway in North East, Pennsylvania.

Series points leader Ricky “Rude” Proffitt will be looking to extend his points lead over the competition with another good showing following up his first win of the season two weeks ago at Salem Speedway in Indiana.

Mike Morgan, who is still looking for his first win of the 2019 season, won the Lake Erie Speedway race in 2018.

Tickets for the event are on sale online for $15 with children 8 and under getting in free.

In addition to the race, there will be a Fan Series Truck Show throughout the day before the race for fans to show off their own rigs. Gates to the track will open at 3 p.m., and there will be a meet-and-greet with drivers from 5-6:15 p.m. Racing begins at 7 p.m.
