North Mankato, Minnesota-based Brent Hall, owner of one-truck Hall'n Transport, won the "Lowest Truck" award at the 2022 Mayberry Truck Show in Mt. Airy, North Carolina, with this 2014 Peterbilt 386 glider. While Hall has put quite a load of custom work into it, there's still more to come.

Aside from the truck's paint job -- it was white when Hall bought it -- he has "customized everything on it myself," he said.

Rear view of Brent Hall's 2014 Peterbilt 386The truck is "all white with a green frame" and "kind of sticks out," Hall said. It also features matching green lights on the interior and exterior.

Interior of Brent Hall's 2014 Peterbilt 386The interior has custom door frames, a white SCI steering wheel, a white gear shifter, and the Peterbilt logo painted green on the ceiling to match the truck's frame. Hall said his next goal with the truck is to finish the interior customizations.

The custom addition on the truck that Hall said really pulls everything together is the Herd aero bumper on the front end.

Brent Hall's 2014 Peterbilt 386 at nightHall said the Herd bumper "sets the whole thing off," being one of the first things people notice about the rig. He also added custom stacks, visor, fenders and more.

The Fitzgerald glider features a 12.7-liter Detroit with an 18-speed and 3:08 rears.

Hall said he "put a lot into it because I've done it all myself, for the most part. All the fabricating of it. If you ask my wife, too much, and probably going to be a lot more." He called the truck his "passion" and "joy."

Brent Hall:

Grew up farming, riding with my dad. He used to drive a milk truck and then kind of just being around equipment in general to begin with, you kind of get hooked on it and then you want to do it.

Brent Hall from North Mankato, Minnesota. Just a single truck owner-operator of Hall'n Transport, dry van and reefer freight. Little tank business here and there.

White 2014 Peterbilt 386, Fitzgerald glider with a 12.7 Detroit, 18-speed, 3:08s behind. It's all white with a green frame. It kind of sticks out. Got a big Herd aero bumper on it that kind of sets the whole thing off.

Interior only has some door panels and some stuff. That's my next goal is to get the rest of the interior going to match the truck. Put a lot into it because I've done it all myself for the most part, all the fabricating of it. If you ask my wife, too much and probably going to be a lot more. But it's a passion, it's a joy. Just want something that's going to be a one-of-a-kind and not bolt-on stuff.
