Aftermarket work-truck upfitter Legend announced the launch of BedBoss, a structural bed floor designed to provide increased protection and secure cargo management for half-ton pickup trucks.
The new BedBoss pickup truck bed floor is built from industrial-grade steel and a thick 19mm composite floor.
According to Legend, modern pickup truck beds see more wear and tear than any other part of the vehicle, yet they are often made from thin-gauge aluminum or another metal. Factory bed liners offer only surface-level protection against scratches and abrasions, leaving beds vulnerable to dents and punctures when hauling heavy cargo. Additionally, factory tie-down points are limited and inconveniently placed, restricting secure cargo storage.
BedBoss is a no-drill, structural floor that reinforces truck beds, adds multiple flexible tie-down points, and enhances cargo security, the company said. Built from industrial-grade steel and a thick 19mm composite floor, it more than doubles the durability of a truck bed, preventing costly damage.
There are two BedBoss versions to fit the needs of different applications. The flagship BedBoss model features flexible tie-down points and maximum structural support. BedBoss Lite is a minimalist alternative, offering the same durable composite floor but without tie-down points for those who need a simpler solution.
BedBoss is currently available for Ford F-150 (2020-Present), Ram 1500 (2019-Present), and Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (2019-Present) with 5.5- and 6.5-foot bed options. Development is ongoing for additional truck models, including 8-foot beds. Interested buyers can contact the sales team for the latest availability updates.
