“Expanding our filter technology for Carrier reefers gives fleets another option beyond replacing or repositioning units,” said Wayne Benson, national accounts manager, sustainability at Rypos. “With a Rypos retrofit, operators can extend TRU useful life, stay compliant and do so with a cost-effective, easy-to-install solution.”

Orders placed by Dec. 15 receive a 5% discount and guaranteed delivery by year-end. This offer could be especially important for 2018 and older TRU units, the company said, which require a DPF by the end of 2025 to meet CARB regulations or will be subject to significant fines.
