A recent study found that logging what you eat may double the number of pounds you lose, especially if you’re a mindless eater. Keeping a food journal, where you record everything that you consume, can help you understand exactly what your eating patterns are. Once you become more kinesthetically aware of your body and diet, you can make more informed choices about what you want to eat for each meal, and if you’re eating emotionally or over-eating.
