More than 150 trucking companies, small and large, helped transport more than 1.2 million wreaths across the nation this year for the annual Wreaths Across America event, National Wreaths Across America Day, on Dec. 17.
Each year, volunteers lay wreaths on grave sites of American military veterans at veteran cemeteries across the U.S. for the event. The largest convoy of trucks for the event delivers more than 200,000 wreaths to Arlington National Cemetery.
Below are some photos from the Truckload Carriers Association, who participated in the event at Arlington, as well as some Tweets from events across the country.
