A winter weather advisory for near-blizzard conditions remains in effect through noon today for the lower Missouri River Valley, with accumulations of 2-5 inches possible through Central and Eastern Missouri through the morning hours. The system is expected to move up through the Great Lakes region and to the Northeast today.
