Pilot Flying J is rebranding all of its businesses to bring them under the new Pilot Company umbrella. Mack Trucks and NASCAR renewed their agreement to keep Mack as the âOfficial Hauler of NASCAR.â Rhode Islandâs DOT next week resumes exit-renumbering along I-195, with I-95 on deck later this year.

I-24 closed in downtown Nashville Friday night through early Monday
TDOT has a closure set for the I-24 section of the downtown Nashville, Tenn., interstate loop from the I-40 at the Silliman Evans bridge to I-65 on the Northeast side of the downtown area. The closure begins at 9 p.m. tonight, Friday, August 2, and runs through Monday, August 5, at 5 a.m.

Flooding in Oklahoma prompts state to waive certain regs for relief load haulers
Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin declared a state of emergency in her state following severe thunderstorms. The order suspends the requirements for size and weights permits of oversized vehicles that are transporting materials and supplies used for storm relief. The waiver lasts 30 days.
