Commercial tire dealer Wingfoot opened a new Truck Care Center in Baytown, Texas, the Goodyear subsidiary says. The facility is located along Interstate 10 at exit 789. It has three service bays, one each for tire service, light mechanical work and oil changes.

Old Dominion to expand Indianapolis facility
Thomasville, N.C.-based Old Dominion Freight Line is expanding its regional Indianapolis hub from 223 doors to 325. The carrier plans to expand the existing facility at 3915 W. Morris St. by 84,000 square feet and hire 183 new employees by 2014.

Gordon Trucking buys Buske Lines
Gordon Trucking Inc. purchased Edwardsville, Ill.-based Buske Lines Inc. The acquisition includes Buske’s 150 power units and 375 refrigerated and dry-van trailers. A 35,000-square-foot shop in Pontoon Beach, Ill., also part of the purchase, will serve as a maintenance, truck driver and operations center for Gordon, based in Seattle.
