Overdrive attempted to survey 14 ELD providers, representing those used by significant percentages of readers. As shown in this chart below of results from nine of them, none of the providers that answered questions were engaged in direct sales of individual customer data, but many do share aggregated, anonymized data with third parties and employ data internally.
