Daniel McClelland

My name is Dan McClelland. I am from Azle, Texas by way of Upper Michigan. I am a truck driver for Schneider and a country music songwriter.
My song, “Concrete Cowboy Man,” was inspired by a story from an old trucker I met and by a book I am reading called Roll On by Fred Afflerback; he’s a former trucker turned novelist. Also, I always wanted to use a line from my favorite movie, Cool Hand Luke: sometimes nothin’ is a real cool hand. Hope you enjoy it!
