Multiple lane closures are scheduled for the Interstate 595 project in South Florida the week of Sept. 26, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.
One lane of I-595, in each direction, will be closed between 136th Avenue and Hiatus Road nightly from 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Sept. 26 to Oct. 1.
Other planned closures are:
• A portion of both left turn lanes from southbound Flamingo Road to eastbound S.R. 84 will be closed nightly from 9:30 p.m.-5 a.m. Sept. 29 to Oct. 1.
• A portion of both left turn lanes from northbound Flamingo Road to westbound S.R. 84 will be closed nightly from 9:30 p.m.-5 a.m. Sept. 29 to Oct. 1.
• One lane of eastbound S.R. 84 between Hiatus Road and Nob Hill Road will be closed from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sept. 28 to Sept. 30.
• One lane of westbound S.R. 84 between Nob Hill Road and Hiatus Road will be closed, nightly, from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sept. 26 to Sept. 30.
• One lane of westbound S.R. 84 between Pine Island Road and Nob Hill Road will be closed from 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 28 to 5 a.m. on Sept. 29.
• One lane of westbound I-595 between Pine Island Road and Nob Hill Road will be closed from 9 p.m. to midnight and two lanes will be closed from midnight to 5 a.m. Sept. 29 to Oct 1.
• One lane of southbound S.R. 7/U.S. 441 north of the I-595 overpass, will be closed daily from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Sept. 28 to Oct. 1 and one lane of northbound S.R. 7/U.S. 441 will be closed from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. on Oct. 1.
• One lane of southbound S.R. 7/U.S. 441 will be closed north of the I-595 overpass nightly from 9:30 p.m.-5 a.m. Sept. 27 to Oct. 1.
